In order to work on internet, you need to be equipped with digital skills like creative writing, digital marketing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), E-Commerce Management, AutoCAD, Quickbooks etc. These skills are highly important as these are not a handyman job. If you are ready to work online, you need to be expert in one or more of these skills.

If you are ready to start working online and earn your livelihood in dollars, you are lucky. Digiskills has listed all these courses on its website and enrollment to Batch 7 is open now. Registration and enrollment to courses is completely free of cost. But before registration or enrollment in batch 7 of digiskills, ensure that you meet the following requirements.

Step 1: Register on Digiskills

  • Go to digiskills.pk
  • Click on Sign up
  • Insert your First Name, Last Name, valid email ID and choose a password of your own choice
  • Check the box “I’m not a robot”
  • Click on “Submit”

Step 2: Activate Your Account

  • When you click on “Submit” You will be directed to the following screen.
  • An email will be sent to your inbox with a link to activate your account.
  • Check your inbox, open the said email and click on the link provided.
  • Your account is activated now.

Step 3: Update Your Profile

As now you are done with registering and activating your account. Follow the following steps to update your profile on digiskills website.

  • Sign in to digiskills.pk using your email ID and password
  • Enter your personal information i.e. name, gender, date of birth, your CNIC (or parents’), your mobile No etc.
  • Enter details about your qualifications and fill the complete form.
  • Click on “Submit”
  • Congratulations! Your Profile has been updated.

Step 4: Enroll in Courses

  • After updating your profile in Step 3, Click on “Home”
  • You will be directed to Dashboard.
  • Click on “Enroll Now (Batch-07)
  • You will be directed to a page enlisting all the courses.
  • You can see details of the courses by clicking on “View Details” opposite to each course.
  • Select your desired courses (any two courses). If you are registered for the first time, you are required to enroll in “Freelancing” as a compulsory course.

Classes will commence from May 27, 2020. The course material will be available on Dashboard once classes start. Watch videos, do you exercises and earn a certificate.

Now wait for classes to start on May 27, 2020.

Fulbright 2021 (Master and PHD) Scholarship 2021

United States Education Foundation Pakistan (USEFP) is accepting applications from Pakistani nationals for fully funded Master and PhD program at top universities in the USA. Fulbright student (Mater’s and PhD) and Fulbright-HEC PhD program is being offered by USEFP for the academic year starting in 2021. Fulbright Scholarship Program is a fully funded USA based Scholarship Program which is supported by the government of the USA through Department of State, USA. Successful applicants will study in the top IS universities or the duration of their degree program and return to Pakistan to serve for the equivalent time period. Each year around 200 Masters and 50 PhD scholarships are awarded approximately.

Teaching Excellence and Achievement (TEA) Program 2020 (Fully Funded Exchange to the USA)

The US Embassy’s Regional English Language Office (RELO) is accepting application for its highly competitive and enriching exchange program for in-service secondary school teachers of Pakistan. The program is being offered in collaboration with Evolution and Virginia Tech. The exchange program will provide an opportunity for Pakistani school teachers to attend a six week academic program in a US university.

TEA program is a wonderful opportunity for government and foundation school teachers to enhance their professional capacity by wide exposure to knowledge of their subject, English language proficiency and teaching-learning practices. The program also aims at increasing participants’ knowledge about United States and it’s culture. The program will also provide field experience of 40 hours in a local secondary school organized by the host university.

The program can be availed by in-service Government/foundation secondary school teachers only.

Eligibility

  • Be a full time English teacher at a secondary school (government/foundation), teaching classes 6-10
  • Have at least two years of teaching experience in English language teaching
  • Be a Pakistani citizen and resident

Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarships

Higher Education Commission(HEC), in collaboration with Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), has announced Ehsaas undergraduate scholarships as a key initiative of the government of Pakistan. This is the first ever biggest scholarship program launched ever in the history of Pakistan. The scholarships will span over a period of 4 years benefiting almost 200,000 students of Pakistan. Annually, 50 thousand students will be able to get financial support for their education, thus realizing the dream of providing access to higher education.

Students from socio-economically challenged backgrounds and belonging to low income families are the sole target of this scholarship program. Moreover, students with special needs are also welcomed to apply for this scholarship.

Australian Awards (Fully Funded) Scholarship 2020

Australia Awards Scholarship is a fully funded study opportunity for undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Australia. The scholarship is administered by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). The Australian Awards aim to contribute to the development needs of partner countries in line with bilateral and regional agreements.

This award supports students from developing countries to study full time in Australia for undergraduate and postgraduate studies program in various universities and educational institutes. The awardees will be provided skills and knowledge helpful for their grooming and they will be able to contribute to their communities upon return to home country.

Eiffel Excellence Program 2020 for Masters & PhD Study in France (Funded)

French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs has announced Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program to support foreign students to study for Masters and PhD programs in French Education institutes.

Students from developing countries can apply for either a Masters or PhD degree in priority areas of study. The program aims at supporting future foreign decision makers in priority area of study and to attract applicants from foreign countries to French institutions.

Fields of Study

The scholarship is available in the following study areas.

  1. Engineering science at Masters level and science in its broadest sense for PhD level (Engineering Sciences, Exact Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences, nano and Bioscience, Earth Science, Information and Communication Sciences and Technology, Environmental Science)

Fully Funded Hansen Summer Exchange Program to the USA for the year 2020 has been announced. The program provides an opportunity to both US and Non-US citizens to enrich their leadership and cultural experience. The awardees of the program will be trained to polish their leadership skills by learning negotiation, mediation, team building and public speaking through vast exposure to political and business icons. This fully funded program is offered by Fred J. Hansen Foundation and it covers all costs related to program including airfare, boarding and lodging. The program is located in Hansen Summer Institute San Diego, USA and accepts undergraduate and masters students of 20-25 years of age.

The University of Oklahoma’s Professional Fellows Exchange Program 2020

The University of Oklahoma’s Professional Fellows Program 2020 is officially announced for Pakistani, Indian, Nepali and Kazakhstani mid-level emerging leaders under collaboration with US Department of State. The professional fellows program provides exchange opportunity to the USA. The selected candidates will be placed in one of America’s leading universities in addition to opportunity to work with successful businesses in Oklahoma, USA. The program focuses on providing professional training and leadership so that these fellows could pay back to their communities by playing leadership role in their respective positions. The US based businesses will have a chance to collaborate with their Pakistani, Nepali, Indian and Kazakhstani partners.

The successful candidates will be placed in April-May 2020 and will spend five weeks of learning, training and networking in the USA.

The U.S. Summer Sisters Exchange Program 2020

The US Summer Sisters Exchange Program is a fully funded competitive exchange program to the USA for young females of high school age. The program is funded by the US Department of State under the slogan of “Let Girls Learn” with the help of implementation partners like Society for International Education, iEARN and American University.

The program has provided tremendous academic support to young females by giving them access to study US culture, leadership skills, confidence building skills, international affairs and various other topics of divers nature. In Pakistan, the program has uplifted the life standard of young girls by broadening their vision about life and career choices. In past, the exchange students have been placed in prestigious US universities and colleges.

In 2020, the US Summer Sisters Exchange program intends to grant award to 16 young females who will be selected through a conscientious and thorough process of selection. These females will be placed in American universities where they will learn academic, professional and personal skills. Upon return to Pakistan, these young females will be provided access to resources to pay back to their indigenous communities.
